First, we would like to thank you all for your love and support as we started this big adventure! We wanted to give a quick update as some things have recently changed for us and our Williams World Tour.
After two weeks in Brazil, a family emergency arose that required us to quickly return to the United States. We booked last minute flights to Indiana and have now rearranged our plans to spend the upcoming holidays with our family before embarking on our travels in Asia starting in January or February.
Unfortunately, with our time cut short and very rainy weather, we weren’t able to accomplish many things on our Brazil bucket list. However, we hope to return to South America in the future! Even with our short time, we still managed to explore different beaches, try new restaurants, hike to unforgettable views, visit a local market, and even have an unexpected elevator adventure!
While the current circumstances may not be ideal, we had anticipated that not everything would go according to plan during this year of travel. We are now using this time as a unique opportunity to reevaluate our travel plan and packing. Based on our month of travel so far, we’ve learned some valuable insights that will influence our upcoming travel. We are considering shortening our travel durations to 2-3 weeks instead of 1-month, packing things we left out but ultimately need, and possibly replacing one of our carry-on suitcases with a larger checked bag.
Although we won’t be traveling internationally until the new year, our travel bug hasn’t stopped yet, and we’re excited to be heading to Richmond, VA this week to visit family followed by a week in Fort Myers, FL to visit close friends.
We are incredibly grateful for all the love and support we’ve received and are eagerly looking forward to resuming our adventures soon! As always, you can follow our social media for daily updates and exciting adventures.
